What I Help With

I specialize in working with teens, young men, and Latine community members navigating anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges. I offer culturally sensitive, evidence-based care in both English and Spanish.

My 3 Core Specialties

1. Teen Therapy (Ages 13+)

Support with identity, peer pressure, academic stress, and family dynamics. Space for teens to be heard without judgment.

2. Men's Mental Health

Work to reduce stigma, build emotional literacy, and develop tools to improve relationships and wellbeing.

3. Latine Mental Health | Salud Mental Latina

Culturally attuned therapy honoring family, language, and values, available fully in Spanish.

I also help with...
  • Anxiety & Depression: Understanding root causes, not just symptoms.
  • Self-Esteem & Confidence: Building self-advocacy and resilience.
  • Relationship & Family Issues: Communication skills and boundary work.

My Approach to Therapy

My work is relational, evidence-based, and action-oriented. I help clients build practical skills for everyday life while attending to cultural context and values.

"You don't have to hold it all together here."

Therapy includes skills development, values clarification, and tools to manage emotions and relationships. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to each client's goals.

Therapy Approaches I Use

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Practical tools to change unhelpful thinking patterns.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy: Identify strengths and accelerate progress.
  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT): Align actions with values while accepting difficult emotions.
  • Person-Centered Therapy: Nonjudgmental support and collaborative exploration.
  • Feminist Therapy: Understand societal pressures and their impact on mental health.
