Approach to Treatment:

In our work together, I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore who they are and who they are becoming. Through a combination of person-centered care and cognitive behavioral strategies, we will work to better understand identity, build self-awareness, unravel past trauma and rewrite your story. Together, we’ll develop practical tools for managing depression and mood, while also learning how to pause, reflect, and practice mindfulness. By incorporating self-compassion and acceptance, I help clients develop healthier ways of thinking, coping, and connecting with themselves, empowering them to grow with resilience and clarity.

About Me:

As a Black woman in the field of counseling, I am deeply committed to creating a therapeutic space that acknowledges and honors the unique challenges faced by individuals navigating systemic oppression and racial inequities. I recognize the profound impact that these struggles can have on mental health, identity, and overall well-being. My goal is to provide an affirming and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to process their experiences without judgment. I strive to help all clients build resilience, reclaim their voices, and move toward healing in ways that feel authentic to their lived experiences.
