About Me:

The decision to enter into therapy is the first step in healing and the next step in regaining new insight and empowerment.   I myself decided to go into this profession not only because of a passion for impacting the lives of others, but because I also gained an improved perspective and life experience while in my own journey through therapy.  I know how it feels to sit with someone and feel comfort, peace, unconditional and unjudging support.  I also understand it can feel scary and because of this, I take a very gentle and yet direct approach to therapy; giving you much needed feedback and guidance.

Approach to Therapy

My approach is simple:  I care, I listen, and we work together to help you regain the parts of yourself you seek and identify the strengths you may not know you have.  I practice mindfulness with clients, together building a sense of quietness, inner peace, and strength. In our safe space we work collaboratively to focus on solutions, insight, understanding, and recovery.   As a cancer survivor and individual impacted by trauma, I have a good sense of what fear, anxiety and anger can feel like.  I’ve experienced the stages of grief and know the complexity of living with loss.  I also know what it’s like to be on the other side of this, feeling well again, regaining my life, and finding a new purpose.  These are the experiences that I will nurture and make a part of your experience in our therapy sessions.  Come heal and let’s work together to bring the experience to you.
